Calcure is a modern terminal-based calendar and task manager designed for users who prefer working in the command line. It combines powerful scheduling features with a highly customizable interface, making it ideal for managing events, tasks, and deadlines efficiently without leaving your terminal.

Key capabilities include creating and managing tasks with subtasks, deadlines, and timers, viewing events and tasks from .ics files synced with cloud services, and importing data from calcurse or abook contacts. The tool displays birthdays from your contacts, supports vim key bindings for rapid navigation, and includes automatic icon assignment for events based on keywords (✈ for travel, ⛷ for skiing, etc.).
